Dr Kan Yuk Man
Dr Kan is a UK-Trained senior consultant surgeon, and over the many years of training, he has developed expertise in the treatment of Acid Reflux and GERD.
Dr Kan also offers a range of minimally invasive treatments that are tailored to each patient’s needs. He uses advanced endoscopic techniques (such as EGD and Nissen fundoplication) to diagnose and treat reflux, as well as other minimally invasive surgical options. He also offers dietary and lifestyle advice, to help patients make the necessary changes to manage their condition.
With a fellowship in Brisbane (Princess Alexandra Hospital), he gained hands-on experience at this world-renowned centre for minimally invasive surgery for the oesophagus. He is one of a few surgeons in this region who can successful use this keyhole approach for stomach and oesophageal cancers. His scope of practice extends from simple conditions such as skin lumps, haemorrhoids, simple & complex gallbladder and hernia to complex keyhole surgery for colon, oesophageal, stomach, pancreas and liver cancers.
